Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
